Last night we slept at
The River Kwai Bridge Resort in Kanchanaburi.
When we come outside, it is not warm and gloomy, just like yesterday.
Yesterday Pia bought fried bananas and sticky rice in Sai Yok and we eat them today on the
terrace in front of our bungalow for breakfast.
Today we go back to Bangkok.
Around half past nine we have packed all our things and we leave the hotel.
Until past Bang Pong, the turn to Nakhon Pathom, it is quiet.
But then it gets busier.
Once past Nakhon Pathom it becomes a bit quieter again.
Pia wants on the way back visit a temple, Wat Rai Khing. This temple has something to do with Wat Sothon Wararam in Chachoengsao. The road is well marked and we find the temple quickly and easily. It is a large, very large complex, fortunately it is not too busy.
When we continue driving, we are getting closer to Bangkok, it is also getting busier, but
we can continue.
There are signs along the road to the airport, sometimes a bit hidden, but we can easily
find the way.
On the busy road between Bang Khae and the beginning of Kanchanaphisek there is a piece of
plastic on the road, the car in front of us can avoid this, we just cannot, but luckily
nothing goes wrong.
We are quite shocked, this could have caused accidents.
Very quietly we drive on Kanchanaphisek Road and turn off at Lat Krabang.
We have a bite to eat at Krua Muang Ve and then do some shopping at
Robinson across the road.
We are home at half past five, there is no one there and the family doesn't arrive until
half past seven.
Pia's sister Pooh drops by to pick up Pia's old iPhone.
